I understand that with the economy being the way it is that things are hard for people. People don't have the money to do the things they enjoy and many don't have enough to pay their bills. Where am I going with this obvious statement? If you don't have enough money to pay your bill at a resteraunt and tip your server then DON'T EAT OUT! The serving industry is crashing right now. Some people believe it is appropriate to not tip if they can't afford it. For the third night in a row I have made less than $30 for eight hours worth of work. It's hard to pay your bills when people aren't willing to pay you for your time. You are the person who pays the server. Not the resteraunt. If you don't tip then they don't make anything and that's just not right. So please be nice. If you can't afford to tip don't waste your servers time... eat at mcDonalds.

Gran Torino
I don't often promote certain movies but I am certainly going to tonight. My fiance drug me to see Gran Torino, you know, the Clint Eastwood flick. I didn't have high hopes going into it. Call me biased but I don't expect to be wowed by a movie that stars a man who is old enough to be my grandfather. Not to mention his voice reminds me of a grizzly bear and get on my nerves. I was pleasantly surprised though. It was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. It was very creative and very well written. The storyline was nothing like the typical movies we have been seeing over and over again for the last few years and the finale was jaw dropping. If you have the time and money I HIGHLY recommend going to see this film. You won't be disappointed.

Playing Catch Up
Tonight I've found a little extra free time (I have no idea how! I must be forgeting something important...) so I've been going through photos from the last photo days my fiance and I took. So here's a few of my favorites. Hope you enjoy...
These photos were taken at Papa Johns headquarters in Louisville, KY. Talk about beautiful landscaping! A large park complete with lake, waterfalls, and walking trails. Nice huh?
The photo above was taken by my fiance. I couldn't help but put it up. It's one of my favorites. What can I say? I'm a sucker for geese. They are so pretty.

Try this again...

Its been a while since I've blogged. I kinda miss it to be honest but life's been keeping me busy. Whats new? Well my fiance and I are moving to Springfield, MO. I'm not sure how I feel about it honestly. I enjoy living in a larger city (right now we live in Louisville, KY) and I will miss some of the benefits that come with it. Not to mention I will have to find a new stylist, scout out new places to take photos, and find a new job. Unfortunately we don't have a choice though.
I'm also beginning to plan our wedding and am beginning to realize why so many brides get so stressed out. Blending so many of my ideas so that they complement each other instead of clashing can be difficult. I'm also running into cost issues. Most people may feel comfortable spending $20k or more on one day I am NOT one of those people. So I'm trying to create the most beautiful wedding I can for as cheap as I can. It's a lot to accomplish but luckily I have a year and a half to do it so it should go fairly smoothly (famous last words?). More to come on the wedding.
